
Getting here and booking

Gotland may be an island, but that by no means implies that it is hard to get here. There are a number of ways to travel to and around the island.
Take the ferry
Fly to Gotland
There are year-round and seasonal ferry connections between the mainland and Gotland. Destination Gotland offers regular services from Nynäshamn just outside Stockholm and Oskarshamn in southern Sweden. The crossing takes just three hours. For more information see: www.destinationgotland.se
In the summer months you can also travel with Gotlandsbåten from Nynäshamn and Västervik (also in southern Sweden). Services run from the beginning of May until the first week of September. For more information see: www.gotlandsbåten.se
Should you wish to fly to Gotland there are daily services from Arlanda and Bromma Airports in Stockholm. You can also take a plane from Gothenburg and Malmö. These are year round services. In the summer, flights also operate out of Sundsvall, Umeå, Norrköping and Ängelholm – all Swedish points of departure. Furthermore, there are flights from Helsinki and 'Oslo.
